Our clients have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate.” This estimate explains the cost of items and services that are reasonably expected. It does not include unknown or unexpected costs that may accrue during a treatment plan. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. It is your right to dispute any charges if you are billed more than your good faith estimate.
